Job Summary
The Finance Manager position requires a full-time commitment to execute finance and business functions to support the Head of School and Leadership team in achieving the school’s strategic objectives. The finance manager will be responsible for overseeing financial and operational functions to ensure the smooth running of campus financial operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will:
Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, audit support, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
Works with the Chief Operating Officer in the daily operations of the company’s finance department- budgeting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
Perform corporate credit card account reconciliations, receipt management, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, conduct routine meetings with department heads, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
Perform occasional payroll processing duties in collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer.
Create strategic business plans and budgets based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.
Accounts Receivable processing
Assist with purchasing procedures
Monitor and track revenue payments
Common Qualification Requirements
Experience in a finance and operations position with solid financial acumen, budgeting, and experience spearheading projects
Must be fluent in QuickBooks Online, Accounting procedures, and executive-level receipt management.
Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Bachelors in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
Experience with a non-profit is preferred. Experience working with boards and committees is required.
Compliance with visa requirements for working in the USA is essential. The successful candidate must have valid US working papers.
Salary Range:
$55,000 – $65,000 annually with a competitive benefits package.
