Extended Care

Extended Care is offered to parents of students grades PreKindergarten through five. Middle School students must be supervised after school during sports practices or at Homework Heaven in the Library.

Overview

The Extended Care program is a service offered within the Children’s School that is intended to accommodate families with busy schedules. Students on campus before 7:45 a.m. or after 3:15 p.m. are required to be enrolled in the Extended Care program, which is managed by the very same faculty and staff who know your child(ren) well. Due to a wide range of dietary needs and/or restrictions, parents must provide a health daily snack for their child. To ensure student safety, every adult assigned to staff the Extended Care program is certified in Standard Precautions/CPR/First Aid.

For the 2021-2022 school year, Morning Extended Care will be held from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 7:00 to 8:45 a.m. on Wednesdays. Afternoon Extended Care will be held daily from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m.

Registration for Morning and Afternoon Extended Care is required. Due to limited availability, we cannot accommodate drop-in appointments.
