Clubs & Activities

The Colorado Springs School promotes a healthy balance between academics and extra-curricular clubs and activities to prepare students for a dynamic world. Here are a list of clubs for each division (subject to change vary by year). Join today!

EARLY CHILDHOOD (PreK)

  • Mini Makers PreK1, PreK1, Kindergarten
    Our youngest learners will explore early robotics through creative play, problem-solving, and hands-on activities. Register here
  • Soccer
    Soccer Buddies is offered in the fall and spring for students in PreK - 5th grade and provides an innovative and ground-breaking youth soccer program where everyone plays all the time! Register here

LOWER SCHOOL

  • Junior Robotics (1st-5th)
    Dive into the world of robotics using LEGO® Education Spike kits! Build, code, and collaborate. Register here
  • Girl Scouts (K-12)
    Girl Scout Troop #609 meets on campus on a rotating schedule - with a focus on Engineering and STEM. Students also sell cookies and dedicate some proceeds to enhancing the campus.
  • Soccer
    Soccer Buddies is offered in the fall and spring on the Quad at CSS for students in PreK through Grade 5 and provides an innovative and ground-breaking youth soccer program where everyone plays all the time! Register here
  • Landsharks Running Club (K-5th)
    Landsharks Running Club at CSS offers this program biannually to introduce running to young athletes in a safe and fun environment. Practices are 2x week after school, and races are held on the weekends. Register here
  • Revue
    CSS's annual talent and variety show allows students to take to the stage for the Kodiak community!
  • Sunshine State Young Readers Award
    The Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) Program is a motivational program for students in Grades 3 through 5. It encourages them to read independently. Sunshine State books are selected for their broad appeal, literary value, varied genres, curriculum connections, and inclusion.
  • Student Council
    Lower School Student Council (STUCO) comprises members in Grades 2-5. Together, students plan and manage bi-weekly morning announcements, spirit weeks, and more.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (6-8)

  • Matchwits
    Matchwits (Middle & Upper School) challenges students to demonstrate knowledge across a variety of subjects. Competing in a quiz show atmosphere against regional schools.
  • Competitive Robotics
    Train together, compete with purpose. Our Middle and Upper School students will form VEX Robotics Competition teams! Register here
  • Girl Scouts
