Real-world Experiences

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
William Butler Yeats

Hands-on learning experiences at The Colorado Springs School are limitless! With active learning as our style, students are out of their seats each day, engaging with others, and enthusiastically participating in lessons. Together, they solve real-world problems beyond the textbook and are encouraged to think broadly through exploration both in and outside of the classroom. The CSS curriculum delivered by masterful teachers inspires academic, social and emotional learning through intentional and relevant challenges that promote risk-taking and eventual mistakes. Students gain yet deeper connections through expeditions, Seminars, and project-based learning so that – by the time they graduate – they are well-rounded and ready to share their wisdom and insights, and to make a meaningful impact in this dynamic world.
