Committed to Excellence & Access
Committed to Excellence & Access
Here at The Colorado Springs School, we recognize that investing in a stellar independent school education requires careful financial planning both from the family and the school. Through committee effort, we impartially assess what a family can contribute to educational expenses to make informed Indexed Tuition allocations. These decisions are often difficult and represent a long-term commitment for each family and the school. Every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition and fees, which support our community as a whole to best educate students for a dynamic world.
A move away from the traditional approach to tuition costs and financial aid to an innovative model for determining the tuition investment of every student. This approach sets tuition for each student within a known range, attainable for each respective family.
As a dynamic learning community, The Colorado Springs School wants to assist families with multiple child attendees.
Oldest Child: Full tuition
Second Child: 2.5% tuition discount
Third Child: 5.0% tuition discount
Fourth Child: 7.5% tuition discount
The Colorado Springs School also offers a 10% discount on tuition for alumni with children. We proudly welcome the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers.
Families are encouraged to apply for external scholarships to assist their students in completing their journey with The Colorado Springs School. The following are among the many philanthropic organizations that partner with CSS to offer need-based scholarships for students in Colorado Springs.
To be eligible for financial aid from Parents Challenge, you must:
For those choosing to attend a private school like CSS, scholarships (up to $2,100 per year) are paid directly to CSS as partial payment for your annual tuition. (Checks are issued to the school with the parent verifying acceptance of scholarship.) Parent(s) are responsible for the remainder of the tuition and any other fees, materials, and transportation that may be required for enrollment in the private school.
