Lower School Children Perform During Holiday Tea

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 took the stage for the annual Holiday Tea, a Choir and Band Concert, on December 8, 2024, in the Louisa Performing Arts Center. Kindergarten through Grade 2 performed first with songs including “Mi Cuerpo," "Winter Moon," and "Hot Chocolate." All students came together to close out the first part of the show with “Let There Be Peace on Earth," an all-school song that is performed by Kindergarten students through the Upper School Vocal Ensemble.

During the second part, the 4th- and 5th-grade bands performed "Whacky Bells" and "6-Note Santa," among other pieces. Third-grade students sang CSS's alma mater and "My Favorite Things,” followed by the 4th- and 5th-grade choir singing “It’s That Time of Year Again" and “A Candle For Peace.” The concert wrapped up with all three grades singing “Let There Be Peace on Earth."
