CSS Welcomes New Families for the 2022-2023 Academic Year

Current families, faculty, staff, and Board members of The Colorado Springs School officially welcomed nearly 100 new families to CSS for the 2022-2023 academic year on Saturday, August 20, during an annual New Family Welcome hosted by the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid. The rain could not stop this fun-filled event from happening, as all enjoyed an informal breakfast on the Quad.

During the event, families spent time getting to know one another and CSS, took self-guided tours of their respective academic buildings, made new friends and chatted one-on-one with faculty and staff, heard brief remarks from Head School Tambi L. Tyler, Director of Admissions & Financial Aid Alex Winnicker, and Parents Association President Lynn Shepherd P’26, P’30, P’33, and had some fun playing with CSS's ever-popular big blue blocks.
