Head Girls' Volleyball Coach (HS)

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organization to run engaging practices in addition to providing instruction and game strategies

  • Teamwork and collaboration with the athletic director, ass’t coach, MS coaches, staff, and families

  • Positive approach focused on character development in addition to a winning mentality

  • Leadership with the mindset of a champion

  • Constructive and professional courtside manner

  • Design and implementation of a game plan for future player and program development

  • Management of team stats and MaxPreps platform for CHSAA

  • Pre-season and summer workout strategies and execution

The position’s preferred qualifications:

  • Volleyball head coach experience (preferably 2 years)

  • Experience working with high school or collegiate athletes

  • CHSAA coaching certification

  • CPR certification

  • Concussion awareness certification

  • At least 21 years of age with a current driver’s license

  • Communication skills for weekly updates to parents and athletes

  • Natural ability to manage and maintain a safe learning environment

  • Relationship building with students and families

  • Sincere interest in each athlete and their maturity as a person

  • Attention to detail and time management

  • Flexibility with changes

  • Accountability for mistakes all within the realm of learning and professional growth

  • Commitment to the CSS mission and school community


Salary:

This position is a part-time position with a salary up to $3,800 annually based upon skills and experience.
