Announcing 2018 Hall of Fame Honorees: Robran, Earls, and 2009 State Championship Basketball Team
Drum roll, please….it is our pleasure to announce former faculty member and theatre teacher extraordinaire, Hela Robran and Mr. Basketball, DeLovell Earls ‘10, and the 2009 State Championship Basketball Team as our recent selections for Hall of Fame honors on Founders’ Day. Read these bios below.
DeLovell Earls ‘10: While he may be best remembered as a dominant force on the school’s first-ever State Championship Basketball team in 2009 and being named Colorado’s 2A Mr. Basketball as a junior, De has amassed an impressive career beyond the Tutt Field House. While at CSS he stayed true to his first love and played soccer for the Kodiaks all four years of high school. As a sophomore on the Puppetry ECS, he nurtured a creative side which led him to the stage. He performed in the Revue as well as the spring musicals of Once Upon a Mattress and Oklahoma. Upon graduation, Earls attended the United States Air Force Academy Prep School followed by entrance into the Air Force Academy, playing basketball and earning his Bachelors in Science Management. Commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in 2015, he has since been promoted to 1st Lt. serving at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Space and Missile Command. Simultaneously to his military service, De has partnered with high school friends and teammates, Charles Lewis ‘10 and Andrew Smith ‘10 on an entrepreneurial venture as founders of Migrate Roller. The company recently shot footage for their Kickstarter campaign on the campus of CSS. It is with pride we announce DeLovell Earls ‘10 as an Athletic Hall of Fame Honoree on Founders’ Day.
