Tuition is set each year at about 80-85% of the total cost to attend CSS. Every student has an automatic 15%-20% scholarship. We NEVER set tuition at 100%; we depend on donations from trustees, current and former parents, alumni, grandparents, neighbors, corporations, and foundations to make donations to close the gap and fully fund the CSS experience.

Donor Gift Clubs and Levels

There are two donor gift clubs, the Claremont Society ($1,500 & above) and the Pourtales Society ($1,499 & below). Within each club is a level based on your total monetary gifts to the Annual Giving fund for the current fiscal year (July 1-June 30). The Claremont Society is our leadership gift club and offers many benefits throughout the year such as invitations to special events at the school. Members in this category account for almost 90% of all donations to CSS.
