Endowment

The CSS endowment is an investment account that produces annual income in support of general operating expenses or particular programs designated by donors, such as scholarships and faculty awards.

Why is an Endowment Important?

An endowment secures the school's financial future by cushioning the budget from economic swings, shifting trends, and unexpected challenges. It allows the school to make principled decisions; improves education by increasing faculty quality; builds the school's ability to compete in the marketplace; and brings an independent school education to a broader market.

Endowed funds may be established in memory or in honor of family or faculty, with many donors making multiple-year payments to build up the fund to its full value.

If you are interested in contributing to the Endowment Fund contact Kevin McTernan, Director of Advancement, via email, phone (719) 434-3529, or in-person.
