Founders' Day - Monday, September 27, 2010
Founders' Day was re-established after several decades to celebrate CSS, its history, and those who are a part of it. In 2009, the honored alumna was Valerie Morgan Alston '69, former judge and current director of the six-state Health and Human Services region based in Chicago. She spoke at the morning Upper School and Middle School assembly, had a special lunch with seniors, and attended classes. The day ended with a reception for her with past and present Board of Trustees, Foundation Board, faculty, staff, and administration.
