The purpose of the Parents Association is to promote a spirit of community through “friendraising” efforts and activities, provide opportunities for parents and families to gather and volunteer, and to hold fundraisers wherein the proceeds benefit the children of The Colorado Springs School. It functions as an auxiliary organization of the CSS Board of Trustees, reporting to the director of the Advancement Office. As an auxiliary organization, the Parents Association exists at the discretion of the CSS Board of Trustees.
The Parents Association Board meets monthly (September-May), at 8:00 a.m. on the first Thursday of each month (except January, when the board will meet on the second Thursday) in the Versailles Room of the Trianon. Any CSS parent is welcome to attend the meetings
All CSS parents are welcome and invited to the Parents Association monthly meetings. Meetings are currently virtual at 11:30 a.m. the first Thursday of each month. Check ROAR for the Google Hangout link.
